Water Minister Simone McGurk could proclaim land used by Coca-Cola to extract water — requiring it to obtain a licence and pay fees, after it emerged the company is extracting truckloads of water from a Perth Hills property for free.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners uses a bore on Irymple Road in Roleystone for its Mount Franklin bottled water and has had approval since the 1990s to cart 10 trucks of 28,000 litre loads per week on average.
