Two teens, one adult charged over luxury car thefts and 'post and boast' offences

Two teens and one adult have been charged after two luxury cars were allegedly stolen from Sydney's northwest.

A BMW Sedan and a white convertible Ferrari were stolen from a property on Old Northern Road in Dural between 3am and 3.45am on Tuesday, April 16.

Police officers found the vehicles parked outside a Doonside home on Perigee Close at 11am on the same day.

Three days later on April 19, a Mazda CX-9 was allegedly stolen from Constitution Hill at 2am.

Police spotted the car on Richmond Road in Prospect and engaged in a pursuit until the car travelled onto the Great Western Highway.

That car was later found dumped on Doing Street, Northmead at 2.30am.

Three people were found in bushland near Hood Street, Northmead, a short time later with the help of the Police Air Unit and Dog Squad.

A man aged 18, and two boys aged 15 and 17, were arrested and taken to Merrylands Police station.

The 15-year-old was charged with 15 counts of break and enter and 14 counts of stolen vehicle offences, along with a breach of bail.

He was also the first person to be charged under the "post and boast" performance crime offence after he posted about the alleged crimes on social media.

He was refused bail in an initial court hearing last week and will reappear in Parramatta Children's Court on Friday, April 26.

The 17-year-old has been charged with aggravated break, enter and steal. 

He was given conditional bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday May 19.

The 18-year-old was also charged with break, enter and steal. He was granted conditional bail.

The same man was arrested and charged on April 19 at 9.40pm, with a further 12 counts of aggravated break and enter offences, 10 counts of stolen vehicle offences and a post and boast offence.

He was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Local Court on Saturday, April 20.

He will reappear in court on April 24.
