Water Minister Simone McGurk says Coca-Cola's access to free underground water in the Perth Hills "doesn't pass the pub test" and has called a meeting with the drinks giant for an explanation.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has been taking water from a bore on a property on Irymple Road in Roleystone for its Mount Franklin bottled water for more than two decades.
