CCTV captures moment stolen car crashes into fence in Victorian town

CCTV footage has been released of the moment a stolen car crashed into a fence in a small Victorian town earlier this month.

Police believe two unknown offenders stole a silver Toyota Corolla during an aggravated burglary from an address on Wattle Drive in Numurkah on April 5.

The car was spotted a day later travelling north along McDonald Street before turning onto Orchard Street about 12.20pm.

Police said the offenders lost control of the vehicle, crashed into a fence before dumping the vehicle and fleeing the scene on foot.

Detectives have released CCTV of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
