Premiership defender Caleb Daniel has again been dropped from the Western Bulldogs' side as Tom Liberatore's return was confirmed for their clash with Hawthorn on Sunday. Full Round 8 teams below! Daniel, who had 12 disposals, three tackles and two goals as the sub in the Bulldogs' loss to Fremantle last week, will make way along with Rory Lobb as Jamarra Ugle-Hagan also returns from a two-week absence due to personal reasons. Cody Weightman (elbow) and Rhylee West (suspension) were forced outs after last Saturday's costly clash with Fremantle. The Hawks also made four changes for the clash with No. 5 pick Nick Watson named to return from an ankle injury along with Josh Ward, Massimo D'Ambrosio and debutant Calsher Dear. "There is no doubt that playing your first game at AFL level is a truly special moment, the energy and excitement it creates for the player and all those closest to them is obvious," Hawks football boss Rob McCartney said. "This weekend Calsher gets to experience this wonderful emotion as he pulls on the brown and gold for the first time just as his father, Paul did in 1987. "Calsher has strung together some impressive games for Box Hill in the first five games of the season, displaying his unique aerial skills in attack, whilst consistently hitting the scoreboard," "As an 18-year-old key-position player we know Calsher is a developing talent and whilst we need to be patient we're excited to see him take his first step at AFL level." Dear becomes the sixth debutant confirmed for this weekend, joining Daniel Curtin (Adelaide), Lachie Sullivan (Collingwood), Harvey Johnston (West Coast), Charlie Clarke (Western Bulldogs) and Bruce Reville (Brisbane). Seamus Mitchell and Max Ramsden have been dropped, while there was no room for key defender Ethan Phillips despite the omission of Jai Serong against a tall Bulldogs forward line. Richmond brought in Tyler Sonsie along with returning star Jayden Short for its clash against Fremantle on Sunday, while Dockers forward Patrick Voss was an unlucky omission for Jye Amiss after an impressive debut against the Bulldogs. Jack Graham and Jacob Hopper (both hamstring) will miss Richmond's clash with Fremantle. Gold Coast regained Ethan Read for the Q Clash and dropped tall utility Sam Day after one game, while Ben Long was recalled in place of a rested Bailey Humphrey. Brisbane ruckman Oscar McInerney will return from concussion along with Harry Sharp and first-gamer Bruce Reville as the Lions dropped James Tunstill and Darcy Fort and lost Callum Ah Chee to a hamstring strain he suffered on Anzac Day. GWS and Sydney have each regained big names for the derby but left stars on the sidelines, while Carlton swings the axe off a loss and Geelong makes some big calls. Stephen Coniglio (knee) wasn't able to prove his fitness in time to face Sydney on Saturday afternoon, while Sam Taylor (concussion) will play against the Swans after exiting protocols. Toby Greene also returns from suspension, with Leek Aleer and Xavier O'Halloran both dropped by Adam Kingsley's match committee. In a surprise call, Luke Parker won't make his long-awaited senior return despite dominating in the VFL last weekend. He's been named as an emergency, with Dane Rampe the sole Swans inclusion in place of Braeden Campbell (omitted). The Blues have made a selection statement after last Saturday's leaky effort against Geelong, axing Brodie Kemp, Ollie Hollands, Jaxon Binns and Jack Carroll. In come Alex Cincotta, David Cuningham, Orazio Fantasia and Adam Cerra. At Collingwood Lachie Sullivan comes in for his AFL debut alongside Oleg Markov.
