But did they have any Lembas bread?

Legolas is taking the hobbits (the hobbits, the hobbits, the hobbits) out to a well-deserved drink!

Ahead of the group's upcoming appearance at Liverpool Comic Con this weekend, Dominic Monaghan posted an Instagram photo of himself and his fellow Lord of the Rings costars Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, and Billy Boyd happily posing together with their shot glasses raised high in the air.

"3 hobbits and an elf and the CONVERSATION tonight was VAULTED," Monaghan captioned the snapshot.

As it turns out, LOTR fans weren't the only ones who were touched by the group's reunion either. Lady Arwen herself, a.k.a Liv Tyler, also commented, "Ohhhhhh too much 😍😍😍😍."

Monaghan previously teased the quartet's reunion by posting a throwback picture of them all together just one day earlier, writing, "This weekend we form like voltron at #liverpoolcomiccon."

In the post's comment section, Bloom, added, "Best photo ❤️."

All four actors played a pivotal role in getting the One Ring to Mordor in the celebrated Peter Jackson-directed trilogy. Wood headlined as Frodo Baggins, the hobbit tasked with destroying the ring, while Monaghan and Boyd played his hobbit pals, Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck and Peregrin "Pippin" Took, respectively. Bloom starred as the elven prince Legolas, a role he reprised in the later Hobbit films.

This isn't the first time that the LOTR cast has reunited since the series ended in 2003. Back in 2022, Wood, Monaghan, and Boyd reunited with their fourth hobbit pal Sean Astin, who played Samwise Gamgee, for a "smash it out of the park" dinner. That same year, Wood, Boyd, Monaghan, and Astin also voiced their support for spinoff series Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power amid a barrage of racist attacks made against its cast.
