Jerry Seinfeld joined "Saturday Night Live's" Weekend Update to make fun of his press tour for his Netflix movie, "Unfrosted," which chronicles the origin story of the Pop-Tart.

Colin Jost introduced Seinfeld as a "man who did too much press" for his Netflix movie, which also marked Seinfeld's directorial debut. When Seinfeld joined the show, he pretended to be unsure of where he was.

"Where am I exactly? Is this a podcast?" he asked Jost.

Jost explained to Seinfeld he's live on "SNL" and has seen him doing promo for his Netflix movie "everywhere." When asked how much press is too much, Seinfeld replied, "You don't know until someone who cares about you shows you a video package and you see yourself with people with these names like Hoda, Mo Rocca, Chanel, Vlad."

"I know I can't undo all the press I've done but I want to help other people. If you're struggling with press, you're not alone. I'm talking to you, Ryan Gosling," he continued. "When I started doing press for 'Unfrosted,' I was like you. Funny, good looking. Now look at me. You think this is how I wanted to spend my 26th birthday? But you can get clean."

The skit ended when Seinfeld accepted a call from Univision and began another round of press, telling Jost to look for him on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

"Unfrosted" began streaming on Netflix on Thursday and has received mostly mixed to negative reviews. In addition to directing, Seinfeld co-wrote, produced and stars in "Unfrosted" as a Kellogg's employee who created the Pop-Tart. The movie also stars Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Hugh Grant, Amy Schumer and more.
