En s'efforçant de déployer les fonctionnalités Galaxy AI sur d'anciens modèles haut de gamme via la mise à jour One UI 6.1, Samsung a rencontré d'importants problèmes avec les Galaxy S22.

Certains utilisateurs ont en effet rapporté sur les forums de Samsung s'être retrouvés bloqués au redémarrage ou au déverrouillage de leur appareil après avoir installé cette nouvelle version de One UI.

"Ils n'ont dès lors d'autre choix que de réinitialiser l'appareil pour le rendre à nouveau utilisable", a ainsi expliqué Android Police dans un billet de blog.

Samsung, qui n'a pas communiqué officiellement sur la situation, semble tout de même avoir réagi. En effet, le déploiement de One UI 6.1 sur les Galaxy S22 a été mis en pause le 3 mai 2023, soit un jour après que la mise à jour a été rendue disponible sur les S22 en Corée du Sud.

En fin de semaine dernière, Android Police se voulait tout de même confiant sur la résolution de ce problème, et tablait sur la disponibilité d'un correctif pour les Galaxy S22 dans les jours à venir.

Compte tenu de la rapidité avec laquelle le géant coréen règle habituellement ce genre de problème, les propriétaires de Galaxy S22 concernés devraient également s'attendre à ce qu'une version corrigée de One UI 6.1 arrive sur leur téléphone d'ici la fin de la semaine prochaine.

Le média ajoute que les propriétaires de Galaxy S21, Z Fold 4/3 et Z Flip 4/3, qui ont eux aussi reçu One UI 6.1 en fin de semaine dernière, ne sont pas confrontés à ces problèmes de redémarrage/déverrouillage après installation.

À titre d'information, ce n'est pas la première fois que One UI 6.1 fait des siennes. En effet, la mise à jour avait causé quelques soucis sur les Galaxy S23 et Z Fold 5 le mois dernier, comme des problèmes de charge ou encore des dysfonctionnements de l'écran tactile.
