Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Belagavi on April 27 to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. During his visit, he will be accommodated at the ITC Welcome Hotel in Kakati, Belagavi. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made all necessary preparations for his stay.

To ensure the Prime Minister's safety and comfort, the Special Protection Force (SPG) and the SPG team recently held a meeting to discuss security measures and facilities at the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near the National Highway and spans across five acres of land. It is owned by Basavaprasada Jolle, who is the son of Annasaheb Jolle, the BJP candidate for the Chikkodi Lok Sabha constituency.

Basavaprasada Jolle expressed his commitment to providing a pleasant and secure stay for the Prime Minister, stating that they will adhere to all protocols and take their responsibilities seriously. The SPG team has already taken charge of the hotel, ensuring heightened security arrangements.

A message has been received confirming the Prime Minister's stay in Belagavi on the night of the 27th. The SPG team will oversee the security arrangements, while the remaining logistics will be handled by the party. Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil assured that the district administration will collaborate with the party to ensure the Prime Minister's security.
