Referee named for Champions League match between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich

UEFA have appointed Polish referee Szymon Marciniak as the man in charge of Wednesday's clash between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the return leg of the Champions League Semifinals. Per Realmadrid.com Real Madrid matches refereed by Marciniak in the Champions League Marciniak is one of the most reliable referees in world football, with several big games such as the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final between France and Argentina under his belt as well. It will be interesting to see what level of physicality he decides to allow during the game.
Szymon Marciniak will referee the Champions League semi-final second leg between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabéu (Wednesday, 9pm CEST). The Pole will officiate a match involving our team in this competition for the seventh time.
