Here's the weather outlook for the next two days:

T​hursday (April 25)

• Fairly widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms are likely over Arunachal Pradesh.
• Isolated to scattered rain/snow and thunderstorms are likely over Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh.
• Isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Kerala.
• Heatwaves could Jharkhand, Andhra, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh.

Friday (April 26)

• Widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms are likely over Arunachal Pradesh.
• Fairly widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms may impact Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
• Isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms may prevail in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Gujarat, Punjab, and Kerala.
• Max temperatures are likely to be above 40°C in some places of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

A cyclonic circulation currently positioned over northeast Assam and another over northeast Bangladesh will bring fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall/snowfall accompanied by isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) over Arunachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may see isolated to scattered rainfall from April 25-29.

Isolated light to moderate rainfall accompanied by isolated thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are very likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on April 25-26.

Furthermore, a western disturbance may produce scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall/snowfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on April 27-28.

Isolated heavy rainfall likely over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad on April 27-28. Isolated showers with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) may occur over Punjab and Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi on April 26-27; over Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh on April 26; East Uttar Pradesh on April 27.

Additionally, a cyclonic circulation located over South Marathwada and adjoining West Vidarbha in the lower tropospheric levels, along with a trough stretching from south Chhattisgarh to south Kerala across Vidarbha, is anticipated. Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada are likely to experience isolated light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-50 kmph) on April 25.

Heatwave to severe heatwave conditions may prevail in isolated pockets over Gangetic West Bengal and Interior Karnataka during the next five days; Jharkhand on April 25-26; West Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan and West Bengal from April 25-26.
