Toyota Innova Crysta gets new mid-spec GX+ trim, priced at Rs 21.39 lakh

Toyota claims to have delivered 10,50,000 units of Innova to customers ever since it was first launched in 2005.
Toyota has launched a new mid-spec GX+ trim of the Innova Crysta in India at a starting price of Rs 21.39 lakh. The new GX+ trim sits on top of the base GX variant which is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh. The Japanese auto giant is offering the Innova Crysta GX+ trim in two variants- 7-seater and 8-seater, the latter priced at Rs 21.44 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
For a premium of Rs 1.40 lakh, the GX+ trim of Innova Crysta gets additional tech and features over the base GX variant. It is available in five exciting colour options namely Super White, Attitude Black Mica, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Silver Metallic.
Commenting on the launch, Sabari Manohar - Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, "Ever since its launch in 2005 Innova brand has earned an unshakable reputation of being the segment leader by setting industry benchmarks. Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ exterior & interiors
The exterior of the Innova Crysta GX+ trim distinguished itself from the base trim with silver surrounds on the piano black grille and diamond-cut alloy wheels underlining its bold stance. Inside the cabin, the Innova Crysta GX+ with wood finish interior panels, fabric seats, and auto-fold mirrors. Other features included in Innova Crysta GX+ over the base trim include rear view camera, and DVR. Safety features include twin Airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill-Start Assist Control.
Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ powertrain specs
Powering the Innova Crysta GX+ is a tried and tested 2.4-litre diesel engine which pushes out 148 bhp and 343 Nm of peak torque. This unit is exclusively paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. There are two drive modes on offer: Eco and Power.
