The Sena (UBT) said that it will roll out a policy for industrial promotion but it will work toward bringing environmentally viable projects but destructive projects such as Jaitapur, Barsu, Wadhawan, which are harmful to the environment and people's lives, will be expelled from Maharashtra and will not be allowed to come back. The manifesto was launched by Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree, the Thackeray family residence.

In 1 year, 30 lakh jobs will be provided recruitment in government and public sector campaigns. Urban employment guarantee schemes will be implemented for the poor, the Sena (UBT) said. The manifesto also said strict action would be taken against those who publicly abuse women.

On decentralization of power, the Sena (UBT said 'We will strengthen the constitutional system of government by preventing the country from drifting towards authoritarianism and totalitarianism'. The Sena (UBT) said it would bring back the glory of Maharashtra "In the last two years, the state's projects have been hijacked from Maharashtra and sent to Gujarat and other states only with the support of the BJP-led central government. As soon as the INDIA bloc government takes over, we will completely stop this injustice in Maharashtra and restore the glory of Maharashtra to Maharashtra.

The Sena (UBT) said that the world recognizes the fact that Mumbai is the financial center of India. But due to the focus on Maharashtra, the IFC was shifted to Ahmedabad.

"Let the state government get the right to reject projects that create fear in the minds of the public as environmentally hazardous and destructive projects. We will establish an IFC in Maharashtra on the lines of Gujarat's GIFT City. Urban employment guarantee schemes will be implemented for the poor. We will insist on keeping the prices of essential commodities stable for at least 5 years. Economic structure and autonomy of the states and local bodies in the country will be preserved," the manifesto said.

"Currently, the various slabs of 5, 12, 18 and 28% GST undermine the principle of one country, one tax and one tariff. Therefore, there will be reform of levying tax at a single rate for all goods and services. While implementing the GST system, the central government treats the states as secondary and all decisions are taken in favor of the centre. We will bring changes in the system and ensure that the state does not have to beg before the centre," the manifesto said.
