A study schedule of 12 hours and sticking to textbook syllabus — that is all the recipe that Amogh Agrawal used to achieve 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2024. Adding to the glory, the 18-year-old boy registered 100 percentiles for both JEE Main 2024 sessions 1 and 2. The National Testing Agency on April 24 announced the results for the examination that saw 56 candidates scoring 100 percentile.

Speaking to indianexpress.com, Agrawal, who is eyeing a computer science seat at IIT-Bombay said, "I attempted the second time only to have a thorough practice of the practice papers."

Asked about the competitive space in the domain, he said, "I don't think about pressure or the competition. I first get my process right. I believe in preparing well and practicing the papers to score well."

He further said, "I study as long as my body supports. Usually, I study for 12 hours. I believe my teachers and my parents have been my support system throughout my preparation journey."

"If tension or stress gets to me, I usually take a break, spend time with friends/family or play," said Agrawal who is now gearing up for JEE Advanced from Narayana Co-Kaveri Bhavan coaching center in Bengaluru.
