Bayern Munich serious about bringing back Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag

Bayern Munich has now been rejected by at least seven coaches. Things are not looking good for the Rekordmeister because as things stand, they have no coach to replace Thomas Tuchel for the 2024/25 season. Or so they thought, because they've now turned their hungry gaze into much maligned Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag:

Erik ten Hag is held in high esteem by Bayern. Bayern's hierarchy believes Ten Hag's coaching has been hampered by a litany of off-field issues and a poor operational set-up at United. His work at Ajax and his debut season in England has been given more credence than the current injury-riddled campaign, in which Ten Hag also had to manage through a protracted takeover. No formal talks have taken place with the United head coach himself, but he has been made aware of Bayern's interest through his agent Kees Vos.

Many fans are not on board with this move due to United's erratic results and generally poor play. Maybe a different set of players will help remind the world how the ex-Bayern youth coach took Ajax to the semifinals of the Champions League.

Despite these reports, he's leaning towards staying in England. Another rejection on the cards.
