Virat Kohli pulled off a stunning run-out during the RCB vs GT IPL 2024 match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Titans were rattled early as Mohammed Siraj and Yash Dayal left the team reeling at 19-3. Shahrukh Khan and David Miller stitched a 61-run partnership for the fourth wicket to get GT's inning back on track. However, both Miller and Shahrukh Khan fell in quick succession. While Karn Sharma dismissed David Miller for 30, Shahrukh Khan was run out courtesy of Virat Kohli's special fielding effort for 37. Rahul Tewatia dabbed the ball to point and Shahrukh Khan at the non- striker's end sat off for a run. However, he was sent back as Kohli charged towards the ball. Kohli picked the ball cleanly and threw it towards the non striker's end. Shahrukh was well short of his crease as the ball rattled his stumps.

Meanwhile, GT failed to stitch big partnership and were bowled out for a mere 147. Shahrukh Khan was the top scorer for the Titans with 37 run knock. Rahul Tewatia played a few shots and scored 35 runs but his wicket triggered a collapse as GT were bowled out for a below par score. Mohammed Siraj, Yash Dayal and Vijaykumar Vyshak bagged two wickets each.

Earlier, RCB won the toss and opted to bowl. RCB opening bowlers were spot on with their lines and did not allow GT to get on top. Siraj got rid of openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill for one and two respectively while Cameron Green removed Sai Sudharsan to leave GT struggling at 19-3.

This is a very important game for both teams in terms of IPL qualification. A defeat for GT would be a massive blow to their IPL playoff chances. Meanwhile, a win for RCB will keep them alive in the tournament.
