      世界最大級の鉱業会社であるＢＨＰグループは、同業のアングロ・アメリカンへの買収提案の条件を引き上げることを検討している。事情に詳しい関係者が明らかにした。アングロ・アメリカンは同社の企業価値を311億ポンド（約６兆円）と評価する当初の提案を拒否した。

      　　関係者が匿名を条件に述べたところによると、ＢＨＰは数週間内にアングロ・アメリカンに対する修正提案を行うためアドバイザーと協議している。ＢＨＰはまた、この買収の利点について主要株主に説明し、提案を支持するよう説得しているという。

      　　ＢＨＰは検討の途中で、新たな提案の規模や構成について最終決定はしていないと関係者は述べた。
