After a fairytale proposal in August 2021 and months of planning, Umar Kamani and Nada Kamani's big weekend is finally here! The couple are tying the knot this weekend with a glamorous multicultural wedding at the iconic Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France — and Vogue Arabia is sharing all the details from the celebration first, from the bride's fittings, to unseen images of the festivities.

The multi-day affair has brought together not just the couple's closest family members, but also several noteworthy friends, from supermodel Naomi Campbell, to actor Tessa Thompson, comedian Russell Peters, singer Christina Milian, Vogue Arabia editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut, and Red Sea Film Festival Foundation CEO Mohammed Al Turki. While guests kicked things off on May 2 with a poolside welcome party, May 3 marked the date of Umar and Nada's beautiful western wedding ceremony, and May 4 will see the couple come together once again for their Indian nuptials. Below, Vogue Arabia takes you through all the highlights of the celebration of the season.

The first evening at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc saw Nada and Umar Kamani welcome their guests with a white-tie welcome party under the stars. The get-together took place by the pool overlooking the Mediterranean, and gave everyone a chance to settle in and spend quality time together. Umar and Nada brought an Arabian twist into the party with henna artists, and fire and belly dancers, while a stunning firework display served as the highlight of the night.

Dressed in a custom Zuhair Murad gown, Nada made a picturesque bride-to-be. Her look was completed with elegant jewelry.

The first of Umar and Nada's wedding ceremonies, which took place at the Grand Allée of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on May 3, was one for the books. Radiant in a custom Maria Grazia Chiuri-designed Dior gown, the bride walked through an avenue laced with ivory blooms to reach her groom, who waited under a seaside gazebo in a classic Tom Ford tuxedo. Adding to the romantic ambience of their special evening was the voice of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who, joined by a full orchestra, performed one of his greatest songs, 'The Prayer', for Nada's walk down the aisle.

For both the newlyweds, this first meeting at the altar was among the most special from the weekend. "It's something every little girl dreams about, but to do it in such style, in such beautiful surroundings - and of course to the man of my dreams! - was really a fairytale," Nada shares. Umar adds, "What can I say? I was speechless when I saw Nada in that dress. It was the most emotional moment."

For their special day, the couple tapped event planners Banana Split to bring their dream venue to life. "Style wise, they liked the idea of a traditional white aesthetic that felt elegant and clean, so our design team interpreted this in two ways, a western style white wedding, and an Indian wedding," Team SB explained. In the case of the western wedding ceremony, the decor featured, of course, white roses, as well as sparkling chandeliers that caught the light in the evening wind, and sprawling gardens in the backdrop.

The special post-wedding performance

After an old-fashioned black-tie dinner, Umar and Nada Kamani invited all to join them at an after-party featuring a very special surprise: a musical performance by none other than Mariah Carey. Dressed in a semi-sheer gown dotted with embellishment, Carey had all the guests on their feet, singing along to some of her biggest hits. "She has such spell-binding stage presence that everyone was captivated. Everyone loved her magical performance," Nada shares.
