The Cherry and Whites are one game away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the European Challenge Cup final, but standing in their way on Saturday are Italian United Rugby Championship side Benetton Rugby.

On the other side of the draw the Hollywoodbet Sharks take on ASM Clermont Auvergne at the Twickenham Stoop.

Looking ahead to the game, Gloucester director of rugby George Skivington is showing the Italian visitors plenty of respect. He said: "We want to go as far as we can, but our focus has to be on this weekend. We've got to get ready for Benetton, there's lots of work for us to do to get ourselves in a good position for Saturday.

"They're in a good spot, they've got a lot of Italian internationals, they're playing really good rugby, they're going well in their domestic campaign. I think the challenge with Europe is always you're playing against people you haven't played regularly against in the season or chances over the last couple of years. And you really have to be on your toes from that point of view, because players will do different things to what you're used to.

"So, that's a different challenge shifting into Europe, you do your homework, and you try and be as best prepared as you can, but it's going to come down to working really hard and staying engaged.

"It's great to be playing another semi-final at your home ground. It's really special to have the right to do that. But look, we've got quality opposition coming here on Saturday, they've had a really good season. And it's going to be really a challenge for us."
