Severe storms cause extensive damage, power issues in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma (KOKH, Payton May).

KINGFISHER COUNTY, (Okla.) KOKH — In the aftermath of the storms that tore through Oklahoma Monday night, families in Kingfisher County are facing severe property damage.

There's been power issues in the area around Lacey. Power poles were knocked down due to high winds.

The lines have wrapped around fences, gates, trees, and debris, which is one of the many signs a powerful storm was near.

Tyrel Cline is one of the many Oklahomans who are now assessing the destruction after a night of tornados.

"Water was even coming into the shelter through the air vents, and then all of a sudden it just got really loud, windy, you couldn't hardly even hear. I could hear debris, tin hitting and then it just stopped," Cline said.

He came outside his shelter to see turned over trailers, his barn wrecked, trees uprooted, and roof pieces scattered around the yard.

Luckily his family and every animal on his property are safe.

"I got 18 horses on this place and none of them got hurt," Cline said.

But now, the clean up starts in Kingfisher County,

"I got good neighbors, they're already here helping me clean up, so it won't take very long," he said.

While his yard, barn and vehicles are damaged, Cline said that's all replaceable.

"I'm really blessed, really fortunate that it was no worse than what it was," he said.

Cline's family hasn't had power since their poles snapped, but OG&E told him they would help as soon as they can.
